Russian Foreign Minister Slams West Over Reaction To Wagner Mutiny
Russia, 1.Juli. /Southfront/. If the West “has any doubts” about Russia’s stability in the wake of last week’s mutiny by the Wagner Group “that’s your problem,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said during a press conference on June 30.
“We are not obligated to explain anything to anyone, to give any assurances,” the minister said, stressing that Russia has been very transparent about recent events.
Lavrov argued that Russia has always emerged stronger from various challenges it has had to overcome in the past. He also noted that the Wagner mutiny, which he described as “nothing more than trouble,” will be no exception.
Russian authorities are still working to disarm the group and curb its influence. On July 1, it became known that the authorities blocked access to several news websites linked to Prigozhin. Public access has been restricted to Wagner’s official website as well as riafan.ru and four other sites operating under the umbrella of the Patriot Media Group, according to the database run by the regulator Roskomnadzor (RKN). The TASS news agency cited employees of the outlets as saying that their parent company would be closed and all of its subsidiaries cease operations.

Wagner Fighters Still Threaten Ukrainian Front Lines
Russia, 27.Juni. /Southfront/. Putin and Prigozhin drew a line under the rebellion of the PMC.
Wagner’s head explained that there was no political goal to overthrow the legitimately elected President, but rather to defend the PMC, which is one of the most effective Russian military units, and punish those responsible for the failures during the military operations in Ukraine.

On the morning of June 27, a business jet with Yevgeny Prigozhin on board reportedly landed in Minsk. Meanwhile, some reports claim that the Belorussian military began preparing military bases and training camps for the Wagner PMC only 100 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

Wagner leader Prigozhin breaks his silence, issuing first audio statement since mutiny
Belarus, 27. Juni. /Euronews/. Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of Russian mercenary Wagner Group has broken his silence, releasing an 11-minute audio message, where he claims that he initiated Saturday’s “march of justice“ to Moscow as a protest and „not to overthrow the country’s government.“
Wagner head Yevgeny Prigozhin on Monday released the first audio statement since an aborted armed rebellion he staged on Saturday, defending the move as a reaction to an attack on his force that killed some of his 30 fighters.
“We started our march because of an injustice,” Prigozhin said in an 11-minute audio. „Civilians came out to meet us with Russian flags and Wagner emblems, they were happy when we arrived and walked past them.“
“On the way, we did not kill a single soldier on the ground. In a day, we were only 200 kilometres away from Moscow.
„We entered and completely took control of the city of Rostov. The civilians were glad to see us. We showed a master class on how February 24, 2022, should have looked like. We did not have the goal of overthrowing the existing regime and the legally elected government, which was said many times. We turned around to not shed Russian soldiers‘ blood.”
„Mr Lukashenko reached out and offered to find solutions to enable the Wagner group to continue its work in a legal manner“, said Prigozhin, according to whom the real aim of the armed rebellion was to save Wagner, which in his view was threatened with being dismantled by the authorities.

Sein Ziel sei kein Umsturz in Russland gewesen, erklärt Jewgeni Prigoschin.
„Wir haben eine Meisterklasse darin gegeben, wie der 24. Februar 2022 hätte sein sollen. Es war nicht unser Ziel, das bestehende Regime und die rechtmäßig gewählten Behörden zu stürzen, wie oft behauptet wurde. Wir sind umgekehrt, um zu vermeiden, dass das Blut russischer Soldaten vergossen wird.“ Am Freitag hatte der Unternehmer erklärt, ein Lager der Wagner-Söldner sei von der russisschen Armee angegriffen worden. Dazu hatte Prigoschin auch ein Video veröffenticht. „Ziel war es, die Zerstörung von Wagner nicht zuzulassen und diejenigen zur Verantwortung zu ziehen, die mit ihrem unprofessionellen Handeln eine große Anzahl von Fehlern während der BBS begangen hatten.“

Das russische Verteidigungsministerium macht der Öffentlichkeit etwas vor, tut jetzt so, als ob die Ukraine sich wahnsinnig aggressiv verhalten hätte, als ob die Ukraine und die gesamte Nato uns angreifen wollten.
